According to Ghana Health Service (GHS) statistics, around 40 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
According to the Service’s most recent update, 13 others are in a critical situation.
According to GHS statistics on its website, one additional person has died as a result of the coronavirus sickness. This takes the total number of deaths in the country to 1,175.
As of October 24, there were 1,781 active cases in the country. There are current instances in all 16 areas of the nation.
In addition, 36 additional instances have been reported in four different regions of the country. Greater Accra, Central, Western, and Ashanti are the four regions.
Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in March of last year, the nation has confirmed 130,077 Covid-19 cases.
Meanwhile, 127,121 people have been discharged from various health institutions after recovering from the illness.
