BECE 2021 begins today with around 571,000 candidates.


The 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) will be held in 2,158 locations around the country from today, Monday, November 15, 2021, to Friday, November 19, 2021.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) announced in a statement that the BECE will be held in 2,158 centers, wishing all candidates, instructors, Heads of Basic Schools, Directors of Education, and the general public good luck.

“Candidates, invigilators, supervisors, school authorities, teachers, and parents are asked to avoid any sort of examination malpractice,” the statement stated.

“GES, WAEC, and the security services are collaborating to guarantee that the examinations go smoothly in all of the country’s centers.”

It also advised supervisors and invigilators to ensure that the COVID-19 protocols were strictly followed at all locations.

“The school selection process will begin following the BECE, as parents, candidates, and the general public have been notified. The details of the selection procedure will be released as soon as possible “It was noted.
