‘After being deported from Australia, Djokovic landed in Dubai.’

According to an AFP journalist on the same flight, Novak Djokovic arrived in Dubai on Monday after being deported from Australia after losing a high-stakes judicial battle over his coronavirus vaccination status.
The tennis player exited the plane with two bags and a mask after landing at Dubai International Airport at 5:32 a.m. local time (0132 GMT).

The world No. 1 was meant to be the main attraction in the Australian Open’s opening night session on Monday, but the unvaccinated Serbian will not be defending his title after his bid to stay in the country was denied by a court.
