Police arrest 230 suspected criminals and commercial sex workers in Accra. They were made up of Ghanaians and other nationals from Togo, Benin, and Nigeria.
Items found included 33 motorbikes, 38 rubbers of dried leaves suspected to be India hemp, cash, and 153 mobile phones.
The suspects will be screened and those found culpable will be dealt with. The operation will be replicated to curb crime in the city, police say.
The arrests took place at the Soldier bar at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in the capital, Accra, on Thursday, April 15, and Friday, April 16.
