Eastern Region | Driver Arrested for Transporting Human Bones to Fetish Priest

Police in Ayensuano district in the Eastern region have arrested a driver transporting quantities of suspected human bones to a fetish priest. Awatey David Okra, 22, Amenuvor Nicholas, 20, and two others were arrested.

The driver was allegedly transporting the bones in a Daewoo taxi cab. The other driver managed to escape with a pan containing some unidentified materials.

The two suspects are detained for evidential purposes whilst the other accomplices are being detained for further investigation. The bones and the skull are to be sent to the Police Hospital mortuary for determination, examination, and identification.

Police are on the hunt for the other two suspects who allegedly helped the driver to transport the human bones in the taxi. The remains of the bones and a skull have been sent to a mortuary to be preserved for identification.
