Laryea plead guilty with “explanation” to indecent assault charges after pleading guilty in court. According to Sedinam Awo Balokah, Laryea’s answers validated his plea of guilty, according to the court’s rulings.
To reduce Laryea’s sentence, the court took into account a few mitigating factors, including his early admission of guilt and the fact that he had no prior convictions.
The complainant is a network administrator and the victim’s aunt, according to the prosecuting police chief inspector Maxwell Lanyo, who testified in court.
Deputy Police Commissioner Lanyo said that the victim is a fourth-grade student at a school in Adenta that has not been named.
Laryea was also a school bus driver, according to the prosecution.
According to Chief Inspector Lanyo, the girl left her class at 2:55 p.m. in July of this year to join the bus. The Victim’s breasts were fondled by the now-convicted accused.
A victim who was dissatisfied with Laryea’s behavior told the complaint about her situation, and the complainant reported it to school officials.
Following a police complaint made by the school’s transportation manager (according to the prosecution), the accused was taken into custody, admonished, and released after posting bail.
