Ghana: Covid-19 Death Toll has Risen to 1,169.

According to Ghana Health Service (GHS) data, four additional people have died as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The Service documented 1,165 deaths as of October 11, but according to the most recent update, the country’s death toll has grown to 1,169. The most recent casualties occurred within four days.

According to the GHS website, a total of 2,338 current cases have been registered, with 111 of those instances classified as serious.

A total of 41 people infected with the virus are in critical condition.

Despite the troubling statistics, records suggest that active cases in the country have decreased.

Main breakdown

As of October 15, there were around 58 new cases. Aside from the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), which had two new instances, four of the country’s 16 regions had new cases this time around.

Greater Accra, Bono East, North East, and Eastern are the regions.

These new cases raise the overall number of verified Covid-19 cases to 129,592.

In the meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service has released 126,085 patients who have recovered from the illness.
