Juventus is not afraid of UEFA sanctions, says Pirlo

Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo insists his team are not afraid of Uefa sanctions over the failed Super League project. The Italian champions are fighting for Champions League football this season. Juventus travel to Fiorentina in Sunday’s Serie A clash. Pirla says there is a “great spirit of revenge” after Juve’s defeat to the Tuscany side earlier in the season.

The Serie A champions are fourth in the table 11 points behind leaders Inter Milan with six games to play. The Juve president Andrea Agnelli was among the leaders of the 12-team Super League which collapsed in 48 hours amid pressure from fans and politicians. The Super League was designed to supplant the Champions League.
