Ghana’s 7th Parliamentary members will later in the afternoon [Monday, December 14, 2020] reassembles from break.
Their sittings will be in front of the disintegration of the current House to swear in recently chosen administrators from the December 7 parliamentary political elections.
A notification from the House endorsed by the Director of Public Relations, Kate Addo said the choice to reassemble is upon the mandate of the Speaker, Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye as per Order 6 of the Standing Orders of the House.
The assertion guaranteed the individuals and staff of the House that all COVID-19 protocols will be seen at the various sittings.
The House rose in November 2020, in anticipation of the just finished general election and is as of now in its 4th meeting.
The current parliament will clear part on the 6th of January 2021 to make way for the new parliament.
