An energy expert says most erratic power supply in major parts of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region are scheduled to take place in the evenings.
According to Kojo Opoku, peak times are most often in the evening as a result of power congestion or overload.
Speaking, although unable to establish the precise time power supply would be cut, indicated that between 7 pm to 11 pm, some parts of Kumasi would be in darkness.
“[Between] 7 pm and I think 9 pm, or between 7 to 11 pm. In Ghana, normally our peaks are in the evenings so when everybody comes home, it happens around that time and it goes off when there is an overload,” he said.
