Ghana has a handful of players in the 2020/2021 UEFA Europa League Season, and one of such players is Elvis Manu. The striker has made six appearances for Bulgarian giants, Ludogorets, in the competition scoring five (5) goals in the process. Manu has also scored 2 goals in 9 appearances for the club in the Bulgaria top-flight. Though Ludogorets has exited the competition without recording a single point, yet the enterprising forward will be proud of this achievement. He has been very instrumental since joining the Razgrad based club on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old was born in the Netherlands to Ghanaian parents, and he has featured for the youth teams of the European country. However, the player switched his international allegiance to Ghana, but he is yet to receive a call-up after talking about the decision five years ago. Manu was a major hit in the Dutch Top-flight league before moving to England, Turkey, and China.
The left-winger can also play in any other position upfront – center forward and a right-winger. His versatility makes him very decisive and special in the team’s lineup.
