A lecturer at the Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy of the University of Ghana, Dr. Nana Kwame Nkrumah, has stated that he believes Ghanaians will choose Alan Kyerematen over former President, John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 General Elections. He said that when the two presidential aspirants get the nod to lead their respective political parties in the upcoming elections, the outcome will be pretty much obvious.

Dr. Nana Kwame Nkrumah said these in an exclusive engagement with the media and explained that the impressive performance of the Trade and Industry Minister will make him a more preferable choice against his competitors, including John Mahama. He added that under his leadership 125 factories have been established, offering over 160,000 employment opportunities.

The President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, as part of his two days visit to the Central Region of Ghana in recent times express happiness at the success of the 1D1F Project, and hinted that it was the brain-child of Alan Kyerematen.

The President confirmed these at the commissioning of the APPEB Cylinder Factory at Chochoe in the Awutu Senya West Constituency of the Central Region.

Dr. Nkrumah therefore based on these assertions and said the possibility for power to pass from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to Alan Kyeremanten was very high. He said his belief was so strong that Ghanaians will endorse the Trade and Industry Minister as President come December 7, 2024.
