After a conflict between police and soldiers at the Suame Roundabout, strong security has been deployed at the Ashanti Regional Police Headquarters and the Suame District Police Command.
This came after a military officer in ordinary clothes was allegedly manhandled by some police officers.
The unregistered motorcycle was being driven by a plain-clothes military officer.
The military officer then summoned his colleagues, who assaulted the police officers.
There have been no official reports of any injuries or fatalities.
