Federico Chiesa, who suffered a thigh injury in Juventus’ 1-0 defeat to Atalanta on Sunday, could be sidelined until after the Serie A winter break, according to his club Juventus.
Juve’s fifth Serie A defeat, at home to Atalanta on Saturday, dropped them to eighth place in the rankings, and they’ll have to try to turn things around in a busy December without one of their main players.
Chiesa suffered a “low-grade lesion of the left thigh hamstring,” the Turin club stated in a brief statement on Sunday.
