The Criminal Court, 1 Division of the High Court, has set December 1, 2021, as the deadline for a decision in the appeal case of social media star Rosemond Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo.

Rosemond Alade Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo, is appealing her 90-day prison term.

She was sentenced to 90 days in prison for releasing obscene content and assaulting her seven-year-old son’s dignity and integrity in a nude photo she uploaded on social media.

Her lawyer termed the penalty as “severe,” and he later challenged it on his client’s behalf.

Her attorneys, however, failed to finish protocols to ensure her release on time after the Criminal Division of the High Court granted her bail of 80,000 with two sureties.

This event landed her in jail for a few days before she was freed.

Her bail conditions required her to report to the case investigator every two weeks and to leave her passport with the registrar of the court.
