Leticia Kyere Pinaman, age not yet known, at Miracle Senior High School in Sunyani, committed suicide in the school’s dining hall.
According to Firstnewsroom.com, the tragic event occurred at 7:30 p.m. Monday, when the majority of the students were doing Bible lessons at the church auditorium. The cause of the incident is now unknown.
In an interview, the school’s Housemistress, Gifty Acheampong, said that she was in the kitchen ensuring the food for the students when she learned of the incident.
“I was in the kitchen when I heard the students yelling, and I ran over to see her hanging, so I rushed to the church auditorium to notify the proprietor and the police.
