Bail was set at GHS200,000 with two sureties for the controversial preacher.
Gary Nimako, his lawyer, filed the bail application in the criminal division of the High Court on his behalf.

Rev. Bempah, along with four other suspects, was apprehended.

They were charged with provocative conduct leading to a breach of peace, death threats, and assault on public officers.

They were arrested, according to police, for making and distributing various recordings containing threats, the brandishing of a weapon, and the assault of certain police officers.

Rev. Bempah had previously been denied bail by an Accra Circuit Court and was scheduled to spend a week in detention.
Rev. Bempah was also sick, and after being detained, he was taken to the Police Hospital on Monday.
